Impressionist Landscape | Oil Pastel | 2018 | In this piece, it was a very warm, autumn morning. The gold-ish tan acrylic paint underneath the pastel gives the scenery is supposed to add that feeling of being warm yet cool day. Nature doesn't come in black, therefore i've used the most colors as i possibly could given. I've emphasis the clouds to blend in with the surroundings by adding the overall theme of color in the piece like yellow, blue, purple, pink, and green. The purpose of this piece is to bring out the true colors of nature that cannot be seen at first glance.
Water Art Competition Piece | Watercolors | 2019 | As the title says, this piece was made for an Art competition about the importance of filtered water in jobs and the environment. The dance moves/positions in this piece was inspired by the choreography in the song 'Fake Love' by BTS. All the jobs and occupations in are connected to each other, meaning they all depends on each other as they work with helping the environment and animals on the planet. The rainbow represents those jobs on the planet who help the environment living in harmony. I've included a mother and child on the platform because by doing good things for the world, it can inspire others-like the child on the mother's back.
Dancer Piece | Acrylic | 2019 The purpose of this piece is to make the viewer feel the theme of music represented by the piece. I was inspired by a song that talked about awaiting for someone they love in the right timing (Serendipity by Park Jimin). As the song goes, it sounds serendipitous, euphoric, and mystical-the theme the piece is portraying. The dancer is in a position that is spinning, which is when the chorus is being held for a while. It also represents the waving of the singer's voice that echos in the song. Her costume was designed from references of Japanese ballet. The clouds and the dress of the dancer is supposed to give the euphoric effect of the piece. Behind her are full moons that pass by that will land at the corner of the tilted window, creating a solar eclipse. This acts like a key unlocking her door to what awaits for her for a long time. To emphasis the idea of time, she stands on sand, that usually represents dreams and time (sand man), while the two hands from a clock stick out from it.

| Things That Go Bump at Night | Watercolor and Marker | 2018 | While in a nightmare, she tries to run from the demons chasing her. To emphasis how scary this dream actually is, I added texture and details to the monsters-such as color pencil, line movement, and pen. As she jumps off a cliff that leads her back to her physical body, she will wake up with shock her body, similarly to how some people can relate to jumping up wake from sleep. Therefore, this will make a "bump" at night. Instead of drawing the scene during the "bump", it would be cooler if it had transitioned to the moment before her waking up. I like to think of it as inferring what could happen or telling a story if you think about the piece more.
| Insecurities | Marker and Watercolor | 2019 In this piece, Lava symbolizes Insecurities because it burns and damages one’s identity and image of themselves. It is often a feeling of torment and punishment which can be symbolized of the devil’s hand controlling thoughts of the mind. There are eyes everywhere because being insecure often feels like the world is constantly judging you.
